How A Headshot Session Works In Our Studio
We can definitely make sure your headshot looks better!
1) Book Your Headshot
You probably have a headshot that you don't love. Or, maybe you don't have one at all. Let's fix that! You can schedule your headshot session at our studio in La Jolla, CA - or for larger groups, we can come to you! There is a fixed fee for your headshot session. To get started, click the page "Book Your Headshot" and pick a time that is convenient for you. (We charge a $50 deposit to reserve your headshot session - the balance is paid at the end of your session.)
You can bring lots of clothing options if you'd like!
2) Headshot Time
For appointments at our studio, just arrive at your chosen time. We'll sit and chat for a bit about the session and go through your outfit options. Feel free to bring a bunch of clothing options if you're unsure of what will look best. If you are having makeup done (optional), you'll have that done first. We prefer to take our time to make sure that we get the most flattering shot.
3) Showtime
Your headshot will be shot with different direction and expressions. We are experts at finding the most attractive you and we will coach you throughout the headshot session. We will take breaks and review the photos on a computer in real time. It will be relaxed and fun! Really! You can feel free to change outfits as often as you'd like within the time constraints of your session.
4) Choose Your Headshots
After we're done the photo shoot, we will review your photos together. We will then narrow the pictures down to the images that you loved. You only purchase the images that you love - no pressure from us.
5) Professional Retouching
The images that you've chosen will then be professionally retouched. We will be giving you the same digital artistry to make your photos look their best (without looking like they were processed by an app on your phone).
6) Final Images Delivered
Within 3-5 business days, your images will be digitally delivered. They will arrive in various sizes (vertical, horizontal) so you can post them in different websites/apps. That's it! You're ready to rock your online first impression!
